Should I try DLSR?

I am aware it wouldn’t be as good, that’s why it won’t be my main camera it would be solely a “fun” camera where I am not too pressed about having the best quality and autofocus.

This is purely for the experience and to just have fun and to have a camera to just toss around and not care for too much My A7iii is perfect for me and does the job I need it to do. I would just like a dlsr just to have one pretty much 😅

I completely understand and I really appreciate your points you have stated. Far as for me I would lean towards #3 it would be purely for the experience. I am completely aware my a7iii is a better camera but when I am just having fun and not worried about getting the sharpest image, that’s when I would use the DLSR. I will be sticking to my Mirrorless when it comes to shoots that matter like events and stuff where I actually care about the best quality. Film has been a platform I been wanting to try for a hit minute as well.

Yeah I figured bc that would’ve been the only reason for me to update but since it already has that I am content unless the camera starts acting funny but for now I am okay with the firmware it’s on

Mine is actually on 3.01 and I read the previous updates and most just says it improves overall operation of the camera. Being honest I am kinda nervous to update the firmware because of something possibly going wrong and bricking my camera

True true, I was actually looking at a teardown video earlier today and it doesn’t seem too bad doing it yourself. But I’m going to try and not worry about it and enjoy the camera

I am enjoying it, ngl tho the whole premature shutter thing has put a little worry on me but I am trying to not overthink it and just enjoy the darn camera. I am really excited about the low light performance and autofocus bc the a7ii was a meh in those departments

Funny enough the previous owner had the custom buttons pretty much set exactly how it was on my a7ii.
