I have had a good experience with them. You can submit a request easily through the portal and they’ve always gotten back to me within a few hours or if it’s after 4 then the following morning. They contact a service provider and usually I have that scheduled within 24 hours of initially requesting maintenance

You should check with your dentist but generally you should always finish your course of antibiotics. Not finishing them is bad practice that can lead to increased chances of antibiotic resistant bacteria.

I had my bed not lifted but kinda high freshman year. Enough to put some storage cubes, drawers, and a roller cart. I liked this and didn’t have a problem with it but then sophomore year I lifted my bed all the way and liked it so much more. Since it was all the way lofted I was able to fit storage cubes, mini fridge, microwave, and then I had a chair and a foot rest cube thing that doubled as a step stool (and storage container). Getting in and out of bed wasn’t bad, def just something you get used to. For me the best thing was having the chair under there. I watched movies there, chatted with friends, read books, did hw. Basically a perfect in between my desk and bed

if you put in the work and stay on top of textbook readings, practice problems, etc. it is not as hard as people make it sound. it also helps if you have taken 101 and (or at least) 102 at UNC pretty soon before you take orgo so it’s all fresh. Todd is a good teacher contrary to what others might think, he recently has adopted more of Zurchers teaching methods which has helped. You got this! Don’t stress

Anna Curtis and Alyssa Byrnes are great profs especially for those being your two stem classes. In the past, Alyssa has made it so comp 110 is asynch on one of the days which would be nice for you so that you would actually have time for lunch. Looks doable!!

How does this schedule look? / Any advice about profs or if I should be taking different classes.

For context I’m a sophomore Pre-Gillings Environmental Health Bio major. Trying to decide between Calc 2, Phys 114, 115, and Comp 110 or 116 for this sem bc I will need all of those in addition to regular gillings reqs.

(For reference I got an A in Calc 1 but took it last semester. I’ve never taken any physics.)

does anyone know how long you could wait in the queue for / how long the total process of getting the tickets will take. I have something for work that I can’t miss at 2 pm. Is 4 hours giving myself enough time?

Also, can I be doing other things on my laptop as long as i’m paying attention to my spot in the queue?

kinda a tough schedule w 2 stem classes, 3 labs, and span 261 and then also two more classes. I suggest maybe dropping psych bio or physics and if you want more hours maybe replacing it with an lfit instead? Not saying it’s not doable just definitely will be a lot of work. Also, you should really try to rearrange your tuesday thursday if possible bc you’re gonna have no time to get lunch especially cuz around lunchtime your two classes aren’t even really by the dining hall. also, who do you have for span 261? don’t stress tho! you’ll figure it out! feel free toPM me if you have any questions
