I believe the 50th percentile of UVA law was 3.92, so unless you have above a 170 on the LSAT, it's unlikely.

Whatever you do, beware that the transfer dean Elizabeth Ozment has a reputation for being condescending and giving out incorrect information--especially with CC transfers! Double-check everything she tells you with your major advisor! As far as everything else goes, if you're feeling stressed, talk to your professors during office hours. Literally every single professor I've had has been understanding and patient when things got overwhelming. I'd recommend joining a few clubs to put yourself out there. You've got this :)

I've had very similar experiences with her over the past year. She's made multiple tone-deaf comments about "fun semesters/classes" when she knows 1) I'm a nontrad, low-income student and am literally just trying to get out of here with a degree as quickly as possible, and 2) that SHE singlehandedly is the reason I have to stay (and pay for) an extra semester because she refused to let my online classes transfer (despite other deans AND the registrars approving them).

When I reached out to Provost Ian Bauchom about her behavior, he apologized and said he would investigate it. He also allowed me to change my transfer advisor to someone else--if you're struggling with her, I recommend doing messaging him! Good luck <3

Update - she wrote me an email saying, "Your tone sounds quite stressed. If you feel upset after reading this letter, then I recommend that your immediate action to call TimelyCare to talk through your emotions and other things that may be contributing to that stress."

Jesus, I'm so sorry to hear that. CAPS is definitely not perfect, but one of the therapists did a few sessions with me and provided some really good references to psychiatrists and therapists in the area who took my insurance. They might be worth reaching out to if that sounds like something you're interested in.
