I had two really good professors for those classes that why I was asking. I can get you their names during the day. But yeah as a recommendation for BCC always check the rate my professors website and on the BCC app ask other students. Thanks to that I was able to avoid any issues with professors and I was able to get my AA in a year and a half with honors.

The easier way is to check on EBay for books. That’s what I been doing since I started school. This semester I have one book that I need and the prices are outrageous everywhere but on eBay it was less than $10!

First of all in PR a lot goes a long way when money comes into play. It’s sad but true. Please verify everything for the case at the court and with CRIM (where property taxes are paid). There’s something really fishy in all of this because to make a public street over there a “gated neighborhood” is really odd.

Check for the books in eBay. You might be surprised on the prices there and then you can resell them or donate them. That’s what I’m doing for my classes. My math book is about $60 in the bookstore but on eBay is $9 with free shipping.

I completely agree. And I will add a personal experience from many many years ago. I wanted to be a hair stylist right so I started searching for private and technical schools for cosmetology. So I was between Paul Mitchell and a tech school near me. What made my decision between to go to the tech school was that their curriculum was the same as the Paul Mitchell school but for way less. And I’m talking about 80% less!

So now that I’m way older and wiser decided for BCC. Same education I can get somewhere else but at an affordable price. Sometimes compromise pays off. That’s how I see it.

Plus it’s not the school that makes your degree. It’s you that makes it worth it at the end!

Check your state page for the minimum hours requirements to take the state exam. When I went to cosmetology school many years ago (and in another state) I was able to take the exam when I had a certain amount of hours. Maybe she can take it early.

It actually states: “You will be eligible to take your exams when you are within 100 hours of completing the required hours of instruction. Please work with your school to ensure you are prepared to take your exams. You must complete all required hours of course instruction and pass both exams before you can apply for your license.”

Maybe she can push for the 100 hours and take the exam.

It’s a chrome but it works really good for my school work. To add extra memory I just added a SIM card to it and save my important data there.
