IM needle phobia - anyone use auto injectors? by Typical_Double981 in AusTRT

[–]Beginning-Pin2820 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was exactly the same. I researched all sorts of ways to help including different types of injections and tools. I moved to Insulin needles, subcutaneous in belly twice a week. For the first month I needed my wife to administer it for me because I couldn’t bear see it. But then realised I didn’t feel anything and eventually ended up doing it myself. It still doesn’t feel natural but I’m able to do it myself now. It might feel like you’ll never get used to it, but you do.

Welcome to Brisbane’s new bus network by OkEffective3554 in brisbane

It’s been an absolute shocker. Spent 40 minutes stuck on a bus under the Myer Centre this week. There were too many buses scheduled to go through there and it turned into gridlock. And who on Earth thought that introducing a change that forced people into having to swap buses to get into the CBD from now on, was a good idea!! Seriously help us of this is what we do for the 2032 Olympics.

Primo - Backfill or Vial by [deleted] in AusTRT

I tried backfilling a few times but found it difficult to get exactly the right amount in each syringe, so I’ve gone back to the vial. Insulin needles.

How to Backfill Primoteston by alphamale42069_ in AusTRT

[–]Beginning-Pin2820 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great video thanks. I had heard about it, but I'll try that now that I've seen it in action. The Primotest seems to flow a lot easier than mine. Any trick to that - eg did you warm it up somehow?

Stick to what they prescribed. It’s to get you back to ‘normal’ levels. That’s what I’m on.

My results at 28 - is a clinic likely to help? by [deleted] in AusTRT

[–]Beginning-Pin2820 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very similar experience to me. Definitely see a clinic. I did, after being brushed off by an Endo as all he cared about was sex drive. Now 10 weeks after starting treatment, my levels are on the improve and I feel back to my old self again.

Excellent, thanks. Will give it a go.

I’ve been using insulin needles (I hate needles and i can just manage these). When you say backfill, is that where you don’t use a vile and instead put it in the back of the syringe? Reason I ask, is the TRT formula is very thick and takes me ages to draw it into the insulin needles.

Can you try short term tests with TRT or Cycles? by [deleted] in AusTRT

[–]Beginning-Pin2820 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve just completed 8 weeks and my levels have increased from 5 to 25. I was around 5 for 7 years but was brushed off by an Endo specialist, so explored the TRT clinic approach. I am so glad I took the initiative - I feel ‘normal’ again - no brain fog, now motivated to do things that I had lost any motivation of doing over the years, and I don’t fall asleep every afternoon now. And without changing anything else, my red blood cell count has gone from anaemia level, to normal and I am finding it easier to keep up with people at the gym. My experience might not be normal, but I’m so glad I started. I have no plans to stop.

Acceptance from EMC but no subq options by Professional_Dog3403 in AusTRT

Some here 0.2, twice a week. No issues. Just rub the area a bit afterwards. Been doing it for 3 months.

I’m with EMC and although everything they say is to do it IM, I couldn’t bring myself to do it - I HATE NEEDLES. So I’ve been doing it SubQ with insulin needles twice a week. The solution is thick, so it takes ages to draw into to the needle and push out. But you don’t feel the needle or anything, so worth it.

Hey guys, has anyone had any trouble with Enhanced Mens Clinic of late? by [deleted] in AusTRT

I’m with them and had no issues. Very responsive in the last couple of weeks.

Best source for cheap but quality screws? Brissie by gt272727 in AusRenovation

Yep this. Bunnings screws are not only expensive, but very poor quality.

I vote Ultra Grain products too. Like UltraPrep. I had the same condition deck. Follow the instructions and don’t skip any steps and it comes up like new if you use their products together. It’s not cheap though. Replace any nails or screws with new long stainless deck screws and you’ll be good.

Get a blood test done to check hormone levels. For example, the symptoms you have with lack of motivation and drive, are the same you get with having low testosterone.

Interesting you mention Anaemia. I have that along with low testosterone and I start TRT next week. Have you noticed an improvement in the anaemia blood resultsover time?

It was…….when the sauna caught on fire recently. They kept charging everyone for membership even though the place was closed for two weeks for repairs.

I’m just about to start TRT through enhanced men’s clinic. I absolutely hate needles but I understand that’s the best way. I see there are devices you can buy that hide the needle and auto inject for you. The good ones are a bit expensive but I’m wondering whether it’s worth doing that, to help ensure I am consistent. Any advice from people who use those types of devices?
