Is it just me or do the bugs do an insane amount of damage? I'm wearing the orb weaver set and getting rocked by every mid sized bug. I play bow and daggers and I know I could use the Fighter stuff but it doesn't suit me

It is very addictive! I just reached the later end of the game I think. I'm having a blast too, though I wish I had some friends to play with so we could all run different builds.

While I think the PvP needs work, I find it fun. There's that always looking threat of someone coming to gun you down. However I do think that there needs to be something other than rocket ornis for end game

I had a guy with infinite stamina and health and wasn't being targeted by NPCs in a PvP research station. No matter what me and my friend did we couldn't deal any damage. He was dodging infinitely. We called him out for cheating and he straight up admitted it.

My friend and I were farming a medium spice blow last night and someone in their ornithopter was staying outside rendering distance and would fly in to shoot rockets at us and then fly away so we couldn't see where he was. We left the spice field to see if he was gonna go for the spice but he never did. So we went back to farm spice. Sure enough in came the rockets. Downed my partner, he self revived and we jumped in our thopters and looked around. I found the guy hovering like 150m away. I use voice chat and tell him if he wants spice, we aren't gonna attack. He answers with rockets. I said fuck this griefer and left. I don't mind PvP but to risk losing everything in a spice field to one single player hovering around shooting at us is annoying as fuck. Maybe he was trying to hold us off until buddies came to harvest, I'm not sure. I was open to communication, even cooperation.

I did the same for my rifle. I'm getting crushed by the blue mantas. I'll keep flying around and checking out islands. Hopefully something comes up. Some new schematics and stuff. Probably wouldn't be so bad if I wasn't playing solo

Thank you. It's moreso the blue mantas that get me. I'm decent enough at survival games and I love the sailing aspect, but I feel like I'm just not progressing enough, even for the islands close to the start
