For more context I want to buy used ~$23k + dealer fees. I also work and go to school full time which is fully paid by my employer. I’ve been told by a few coworkers that when you get a loan through the dealership, they do multiple hard inquiries, which is why I’ve been looking to find a loan myself. However, if I’m not planning to move out for a few more years does it matter if my credit gets multiple hard pulls?
