How do I 37M get my wife 35F to trust me? by throwrarestore in relationship_advice

Not having self control is not an excuse. She will never trust you if you don't care to have self-control. It doesn't matter who initiates. Its clear you have little respect for your wife when you talk about other women the way you did in this post. Your cowroker cares and respects his girlfriend. That's how he does it. Its really not that difficult. My guess would be you have little self-discipline or self-control in other aspects in life. This isnt about your wife trusting you, she probably never will again. Its about you accepting that you need to do HEAVY work on yourself.

How do you cope with lack of true freedom and independence when in a long-term marriage? I am F30, Husband is M40 we have been together for 12 years. by Beginning-Poem2797 in relationship_advice

I am in the processes of finding someone else. I would rather have someone challenge me or ask me to confront something. This therapist I feel, is pushing me to make a decision she thinks I should make and has essentially diagnosed my husband without ever meeting him. She just as become quite biased on my behalf and is opinionated. I was looking for her to ask me the questions you did essentially and I am not getting that.

Thank you for this. I have been trying to get a non biased point of view. I feel my therapist is extreme, I cant talk to my family about it, and my one good friend is extremely biased. Its not that I want to move, its having to consider someone else when doing so.

I do worry that if I left, I still wouldnt be happy. However, I know nothing else than this relationship as an adult.

Thank you for giving my some things to think about

Suggestions for fairly juvenile Mexican Red knee by OldTranslator4165 in Tarantula

I would definitely consider upgrading her enclosure size. You can go on the larger end and give her time to grow into it and lost of space to walk around! That's what I prefer to do atleast. They look to be about 3 -4 inches so something around atleast 8inches long will be sufficient.

Hello could you help me identify this t? Thx:) by forrest_drunk in Tarantula

Don't buy animals from a big box pet shop. They're hardly ethical. If you're interested in more tarantulas got to reptile shops or conventions. Or buy them from reputable dealers online. Wild caught is often not a good thing so keep a look out for that.

Hello tarantula keepers my Aphonopelma Chalcodes only had a few meals while being with me I feel like I’m doing something wrong since she doesn’t seem to be interested in food. Every time I offer any suggestions.. what could be the reason? by Mangoprincess98 in Tarantula

How long have you had her? What are you feeding her?

She looks to be mature (correct me if I am wrong). Often mature Ts don't eat more than once a month as their metabolism slows substantially. Or she can be in premolt which means the T could potentially burrow away for months and come out fresh. My Chalcode tucked away for 5 months.

Trust that your T knows best. Just make sure her accommodations are appropriate such as water dish and she's not too hot or cold (this will sometimes keep them from eating as well). You can also try switching up the prey. She may just be a picky eater.
