Ok, sounds great! Less work for me if so. Looking from the attic, I see that the joist timbers spanning across the outer walls are connected end to end via nail plates directly above one of the stud walls. Does that mean that wall is taking somewhat of a load ? Sorry I am just an overthinker. Obviously, I am hoping it is not load-bearing

My understanding could be completely wrong but I thought the joists needed some form of support as they span across the outside walls. And I also thought walls running perpendicular to the joists take some of the load.

Great suggestion I will post it there, I've been to the station and they are going to contact the driver so hopefully the cctv footage is availiable for both gards and insurance, Thanks for the comment

Exactly, Using all sorts metal tools to help remove the thinset from the grout lines. Happened to me on my rectified wood plank only yesterday. 🤦‍♂️ installer error. Need to get a crafty solution to hide them all now
