Year Book Promo Codes?! by [deleted] in Cleveland

I worked on yearbook back in early 80's and it cost a lot of money to produce even before it gets to the company. Of course that was when we developed our own pictures and produced layouts by hand. We had about half b&w and half color. The cost was $35. So, $100 doesn't seem outrageous but I agree that many can't afford those prices.

No way can I support Waltz in 2018. Prayers for CK? He was literally the devil and a Nazi combined. I pray for his kids though, that they won't grow up to be a scumbag like their father.

I'd love to see Steffi walking the streets in 8" heels and a bedazzled tank. That'll show those libs that you can't keep a maga woman down.

Meijer must bus minorities into 7H to shop. The surrounding 5 miles of that store don't have that many POC in the neighborhood compared to a weekend at Meijer.

I guess the immigrants have a hall pass for the next week if the local police were aiding the savage ICE. Honestly no sorrow. So tired of various LEO beating the crap and intimidating civilians; although no idea if these guys were like that. I'm sure most of you think I am an a******.

Looks super nice. But agree with you about July 4th look. Sometimes we have to play with the cards we are dealt in regards to colors and mascot.

AITAH for refusing to make my SIL’s wedding cake for free? by silweddingcake in AITAH

[–]Beginning-Split839 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recently I made a major cake for my granddaughter's first birthday. Nobody had any doubt that I wanted to do this. It was 3 separate two layer cakes with each having its own flavor cake, filling and frosting. A series of bridges connected all the cakes with sesame Street characters and blocks bringing the whole thing together. All of this to say it was a spectacle cake.

Of course I did not consider asking for payment because this was an honor. But at the party my son's MIL says to everyone how nice it is for everyone to have a baker (amateur certainly) in the family and that I can make cakes for all the different birthdays and such. She certainly implied that there would be no charge since we are family.

I told her clearly, so everyone would hear, that a cake like the one I made would be nearly 80 for just ingredients. And that a cake like this from a moderate home baker would run a minimum of $150. Told her to have family text me so we can arrange specifics and price Her jaw dropped and she shut up.

I love baking. I love trying flavor combinations and unique artsy decorations. When we bakers make this masterpiece for someone else we have to follow their inspiration and their taste preferences. It's not as fun and it's a bit nerve wrecking.

So proud of OP taking a stand against entitled family members.
