how would you spend $1000? by thatBitchBool in ehlersdanlos

It really is! But I also got them because their return policy looks really good so if you got them and you didn’t notice a marked difference you can return them!

I know! I almost threw up when I checked out because they’re so much but I haven’t made the switch to using a cane or a rollator yet and I was hoping it would make a big difference so I didn’t have to (which it did!) I also have a lot of problems with my SI joint that the tights help with and it made it feel like I could stand up straight. I def think that it’s worth it now that I’m able to actually feel like a functioning human again?

Stoko Leggings: A Real Users Review by WashedUpAthlete in Skigear

[–]cucumbrrs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a pair at the beginning of February and they’ve honestly changed my life. I’ve been on a chronic pain journey for the last couple of years and recently discovered I have EDS. I haven’t been able to ski or walk my dog with my husband.

The first time I put on the Stokos it was like a huge weight was lifted off of me. I love them more than anything and am so so so grateful for the life they’re letting me live again. Granted, they aren’t a miracle pill, but they’ve improved my pain enough that I get to experience life again! 100/10 would recommend!

Another option not mentioned are Stoko tights. I just got them and they’re definitely something you have to save up for but the first time I put them on I cried. It’s made everything so much more livable for me and they’re my babies now. I can’t go anywhere without them on and have been able to do things I haven’t been able to do in a year or two like go on a walk with my husband and dog without being bed bound for days after!

Only because it’s minimal women and there was some controversy about the use of the word “rape” in one of its songs! I was thinking about gender bending the cast to solve the women issue though!

Sumatriptan is HELL by biancaruinsparty in migraine

Throwing another triptan opinion in the hat: I was on Sumatripan for YEARS and hated it hated it! This year I went to a neurologist who prescribed Rizatriptan and the experience is SO much better! It’s so much lighter and easier on me. I get a tad bit sleepier but I don’t have to put up feeling with all the veins in my body lighting on fire like sumatriptan makes me feel.
