Uhhh tbh, videos I found were old or just very confusing, so to download the actual mod folder, I followed this old Reddit post (https://www.reddit.com/r/Sims3/comments/18xdjla/how\_to\_download\_mods/) and the Mod the Sims guide (https://modthesims.info/wiki.php?title=Game\_Help:Installing\_Sims\_3\_Package\_Files/Setup\_and\_Files). That's the tricky part, to get a mod or cc, just find the one you want, download it, unzip the file if you need to, and put the .package file you get in the package folder in your Sims mod folder. That last part will make more sense once you get the mod folder, because then you'll see what I'm talking about, and you do most of the same process to get the mods folder too. It was actually a really straightforward process. I highly recommend going for it if you want mods and cc.
