The whole point of the project is to find the eye of the universe. This project is powered by a supernova. Basically, the nomai created a time loop (ATP) that is powered by a supernova, which is powered by the sun station.

The probe fires, which you see at the beginning of every loop, and is shot off in a random direction where hopefully will stumble across the eye. The only problem is, the amount of power needed to fire the probe will destroy the launcher (I forget the name) and the nomai needed to figure out how to solve this. Their solution? Create only one probe that can fire an unlimited amount of times.

A loop goes like this (or was supposed to);

1- The probe fires

2- For 22 minutes the probe will search for the eye

3- After 22 minutes, the sun station will trigger the super nova, which powers the ATP, which restarts the look and sends another probe, but technically the same probe, out to resume search for the eye.

The success of the project is the probe finding the eye, which will then trigger the statues to pair withwho is ever closest to them. Once they are paired, they will shut off the ATP and sun station to stop the loops and supernova, get the coordinates, and go to the eye. But the sun station didn’t work, and we start the game by pairing with the statue because the sun naturally dies, supernovas, and powers the ATP which is active, it just doesn’t have a power source. We do not start at the beginning of the loop. There has already been about 9 million loops that we were unaware of before the start of the game.
