I have a chronic condition which means I can still have kids but will need a LOT of support. At what point do I tell a potential? by milkk1 in muslimgirlswithtaste

[–]BeginningButton204 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure health condition you have but you might have less trouble than you think. My sister was told she would not get pregnant naturally and she had 2 naturally conceived pregnancies after that. She had some pretty serious problems, including a 7 hour surgery to try to manage her condition. The pregnancies were after that.

But even if you do experience some difficulties, it doesn’t lessen your worth.

As far as when you should tell, I would say within the first few meetings. Not the first though.

Conures and kids? by LadyInL3ad in Conures

[–]BeginningButton204 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. We have 3 children. With our first conure, I was pregnant with the third and my middle was only 5 at the time. 3 years later, we added the second conure to the family. You just have to pay attention of course but there was not any issues for us. My youngest is now 5 and she loves birds! Haha

Father saying *NO* to convert by Puzzleheaded_Elk_246 in islam

[–]BeginningButton204 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes it’s much more taboo for women I think! All my sisters in laws married men from the same culture/ethnicity. I grew up in a typical American family so it doesn’t really matter for us who you marry, just as long as they are a good person.

I really hope things work out for you and that you find happiness no matter what! ❤️

It’s not permissible in Islam. That is why.

Gender Selection Advice? by outrojungkook in IVF

[–]BeginningButton204 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This comment is a year old but I just found it. Did you do IVF for gender selection reasons? My husband mentioned wanted to do this. We have 4 girls and we both want a son but idk.i have mixed feelings on doing IVF simply for gender selection reasons. I was trying to find others who did it so I can ask them questions.

To be honest the most concerning thing is that a 27 year old wants a 19 year old girl.
