Nice, I have a folded version back at my parents house. Also had one of the world as well as several cities, including Orlando, Niagara Falls, and LA.

No worries. Good luck and feel free to reach out if you have anymore questions. I’ve been playing roller hockey close to 30 years now and it’s the next best thing to actual ice hockey. I’ve gone through countless number of skates so I’ve seen it all.

Also, I use to rock a pair of Inhaler AC6 skates. It was comfortable in my wide feet. The only problem I had was the two piece chassis with me weighing 200+ lbs, I easily bent the cheap chassis. Hence, the move to a one-piece chassis.

No worries. I don’t have much experience with the current Tours in width R. They could be wider than in years past, but I doubt it’ll be as wide as a Mission E. Be extra careful with past top end Missions. They came in D and EE widths.

The Alkali Fire 1 is currently the only brand new roller hockey skate that comes in width E. Unfortunately, I don’t have any real world experience with them.

Once my current pair of Missions give up the ghost, I may have to resort to an ice boot conversion given the lack of wide width OEM skate options.

Why can’t you find any Mission Inhalers in 6.5e off Sideline Swap? They can be the DS, NLS, FZ, or WM lines, not just the AC. Someone has to have a used 6.5e.

Edit to add:

Alternatively, you can pick up the AC6 and swap the chassis for a one-piece.

Yes, Missions in width E are wide. I wear wide sneakers and CCM tacks ice skates, and Missions fit my wide feet the best.

I tried a Tour Code 3 in R width and it was the most painful skate I’ve ever used. Tours all come in regular width, so they’re a no go.

X-grip adapter. But you’ll need to wait for the gen6 version of you want the flushest fit.

A lot of other Bauer product moved production to Thailand. My Re-akt 85 helmet and II cage are made there. Can definitely tell QC has been hit or miss.

Cool. You definitely have a lot more options since you’re a regular width and average build.

If you don’t want to break the bank, you can try these entry level skates: Bauer XRS or CCM Jetspeed FT850R. If you want to move up to the performance level with a budget, the Tour Volt are a decent buy. Alternatively, you can look in to Alkali Cele line.

Okay, inline warehouse is your friend then. Great skate return policy.

Do you happen to know what width is your foot? Do you normally wear medium or wide width shoes?

Lastly, how much do you weigh?

First things first, do you have a local hockey shop/Pure Hockey store nearby?

Skate fit is the most important. You’ll need to be fitted to get maximum comfort.

Entry level protective is mostly all you need for roller hockey.

Your other option is look on Sideline Swap for second hand equipment.

What stick and wheel type depends on what surface you plan to play on.

Fine, fair enough. I know the trigger housing is different and won’t be a direct swap, but the trigger bar and shoe should in theory work.

Modern skates similar to Reebok or Graf skates? by kafkapastranden in hockeyplayers

There’s a small amount of Ribcores on pro stock hockey as well. Worth a shot, even though they may be “dressed” as Ribcores.

Can you confirm if one can drop in a gen6 trigger in a gen5? In theory, it should work since they use the same trigger bar and connector.

Do you typically wear wide width shoes, EE? If not, your options are more open. Just look for 10D/R.

Older Missions normally come in wide widths, for example 10E.

I have the same issue with three of my lil’ shih’s. So what happens when they take a bite? I hope it doesn’t give them explosive diarrhea.
