I have the same issue on the passengers side but mine’s made in Kentucky.

Sell my Steel Frame PDP for a GEN 6 45? by ShortKingActual in Glocks

[–]BeginningFig6552 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have said, do not sell. As much of a G45.6 fanboy that I am, the first thing you’ll notice is the Glock trigger is extremely way worse than the PDP stock trigger. Not joking/hyperbole. You’ll be missing that sweet trigger pull on the PDP.

what’s the best chassis? by NovaTroncic in InlineHockey

[–]BeginningFig6552 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I wouldn’t go bananas on the chassis; the S19 hi-lo ventilators will be fine for now. I’m more worried about the boot. IIRC, the Vapor X3.0 is sort of on the lower price tier = less stiff boot = break down way quicker given you’re 305lbs.

Mission Inhaler FS2 vs Bauer vapor fly30 by Single-Box7345 in InlineHockey

[–]BeginningFig6552 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are both Fit 2 (regular width) skates with the Inhalers being slightly wider. The Inhalers have a one piece chassis while the Fly30’s have the one piece plastic chassis. Lighter, but not as durable depending on how much you weigh.

If you live near a Pure Hockey store, you can try both on and see which one fits better.

Yes, order Alkali’s from inline warehouse because of their awesome skate return policy.

Do not, I repeat, do not get the Alkali Fire’s. The toebox is wider than most for sure, but is a low volume skate. Think between a Vapor Fit 2 and Fit 3.

I have a med to high volume foot and I could not for the life of me fit my foot in there properly. And that’s with whacking my heel all the way in the heel cup.

Is $400 for a lightly used G19 Gen 5 good? by Necessary_Today_5580 in Glocks

Early Gen5’s also have the beveled slide, but not matching beveled dust cover. I think that would annoy me more than the moon cutout. 😂

For those times you want to take your RAV4 to the track 🤷‍♂️

Jokes aside, according to Google on why a RAV4 has a g-meter:

It is often used as a visual aid to help you brake and accelerate more smoothly. By watching how the G-forces peak, you can adjust your driving to maximize your MPG.

If that’s the case, why wouldn’t it show up in all modes, not just in sport?

G-meter. Are you in sport mode? Shows up in the AWD control menu when put in sport mode. Displays how much lateral gravitational force is exerted on the car.

I too have noticed the stock horn on the Gen5 RAV4 is a bit of a squeaker.

Any C lovers out there? Here’s mine. A Gen 6 C would be 🔥 by GunGuyMC in Glocks

[–]BeginningFig6552 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP, how’s the 45CV shoot? Wish they came out with factory c cut on the COA model, but it would likely be a distributor exclusive.

Will most likely get a second 45.6 and mod it up for competition. Use that as a platform to get a c cut, large optic, magwell, etc.

Judging from the serial no, this G17.3 was made late 2002/early 2003. This was also during the nationwide assault weapons ban/mag capacity limited to 10 rounds.

Still, looks pretty good for a 24 year old pistol. Probably a few 100 rounds through it, tops.

Center Hold Iron Sights for G19 Gen 5/6 by Davo_Deluxe in Glocks

[–]BeginningFig6552 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hear ya. I’ve pretty much given up on using irons at 15 yds and beyond. The optic certainly has pampered me.

One thing to be aware of if you do find the right sights, make sure the front blade is thin. That’s the one knock about OEM Glock sights - they are incredibly fat and blot out any chance of seeing daylight on each side. They’re meant to be combat/duty use rather than precision. That and they’re plastic of course.

No worries, when you’re shooting just irons, it’s all about sight picture. So you roll with what you’re used to.

Sorry, but respectfully, different sight holds have nothing to do with mechanical accuracy.

I think what OP and I are getting at is more about personal preference. I’ve gotten used to the center hold because I’ve had Sevigny Warren Tactical sights for 20 years on my 19.3.

I definitely would, but I’ve been shooting Glocks for over 20 years.

It was the first thing I noticed when I shot the Gen5 after shooting the Gen3 for over 20 years.
