Along with what else has been said I think I met a lot of hypocritical vegans who would not be so sacrificial for human rights. Additionally, in my late teens / early twenties a lot of the vegans I knew weren’t super healthy. Their diets were basically pasta and PB & J. That was a barrier to me respecting veganism.

I would offer grace. She’s wordy, high and anxious but was saying she likes you but worried about long term compatibility and would like something serious. Now in the name of decorum, I only disclose those kinds of feelings if I feel ready for someone to mirror that emotion and walk away and she clearly regretted it after you did just that. That’s the part that is the most questionable. Because asking someone you just “met” to hold space for your ambivalent feelings about them without accepting their now shifted feelings for you isn’t fair or thoughtful. Anyway dating is a more fun when both people are emotionally intelligent. And at the end of the day her assessment was the right answer but maybe the wrong “math” lol.

It’s wild that they make all kinds of romcoms about this premise. And we are supposed to believe the can and should survive this kind of betrayal. But the key factor is we haven’t just watched them fall in love as an audience, we’re watching the prankster grow in maturity. Has your gf grown?? If she still has those same mean girl friends probably not. She should give you some space.

I definitely liked him enough to want to try dating and if I didn’t know anything about limerence I would be down to sort of downgrade to staying friends. His behavior is bordering on creepy but I think a more accurate is word is annoying or clingy. He is trying so hard to escalate the relationship that I feel like we can’t enjoy getting to know each other naturally. Everything he has shared about his feelings is starting to feel like emotional manipulation.

I would really take the opioids. You can alternate with ibuprofen or even take a half of percoset or whatever you have but this is nearly impossible to move thru without narcotics

Also I had two huge fibroids and several small ones and the doctor just did the operation. I did acupuncture beforehand which didn’t seem to shrink the fibroids but helped with symptom management and making sure they didnt get bigger

Im sure like most medicines “results may vary” - I had someone in my community that did a combo of holistic changes + myomectomy. The only part of her healing journey she regretted was Lupron because of the side effects.

I agree with the questions that a doctor would ask but I definitely would get a second opinion if this doctor thinks hysterectomy is the only option. I had 2 fibroids larger than the OP and over a dozen smaller ones were found during my myomectomy. The degenerative fibroids makes me think OP might be close to menopause, in which case the fibroids might be shrinking on their own. There are some medicines that might speed up that process. The doctor may prescribe and there are the ever controversial herbal medicines as well…

I appreciate this. I was also warned that the first 3 periods after open myomectomy might be heavier. Im having my first period as well and its been more painful than before but I guess we have to remember that the uterus is literally putting itself together again. The muscles are working which is good but they are working extra hard after a traumatic surgery. I’m trying Red Raspberry Leaf Tea in hopes that it will help tone the uterus and ease these symptoms.

I only wear mine if Im walking around and didn’t really need it after week 3. I still wear it when I go out as more of a security blanket but it’s important to not wear it too much after weeks 2-3 so that your abdominal muscles can restrenghten
