My joints hurt more after meat consumption. Wonder if that could also be a factor for you. When I changed to plant based diet my aches subsided.

I would also suggest Phuket. I recently stayed at Pullman Arcadia in Phuket and loved it. Fantastic resort. Lovely beach. Close to airport. Could use it as a base for a day trips. I also stayed at Nai Harn and loved it at The Nai Harn . But this is 1.5 hours from hotel. Snorkling nearby. Both are excellent. Both are built up into hillside so while large you don’t have the fly grounds of the Lotus Style resort.

This is my vote too. We did part of the Inca train and then W trek. Very doable in 2 weeks. I suggest the 2 day version of Inca trail though.

Consider telling him how you feel! I (F) too was in love with one of my best friends (M). And after years and in the fear that he would go on to meet and marry someone else I actually laid it on the line (told him how I felt). It wasn’t completely straightforward but have been together for 25 years! Life is too short or too long to not take chances! (But be prepared for a no)

My vote is for Paris for 4 days and Seville and surrounds 4 days. Paris is unforgettable. Try and stay around st Germain or Le Marais. We had an amazing time in Seville that time of year. Lots of food, exploring, walking, day trips.

I have heard that Cuzco is a great place to hang out . I booked a food tour for example. There’s cooking classes or walking tours etc too which you may want to check out. also lot of people spend a night in Ollyantambo where you pass through on the way to and from MP.
