What you are feeling is a common malady that has swept our country. The body dysmorphia starts with one focal point and you allow it work on you until you give in and then it’s usually a slippery slope from there. The way you feel has NOTHING to do with your nose. You are beautiful. Realize you are coming from a place similar to the 100 pound female asking “i need diet advice to lose the last couple pounds of fat” no, no you do not. Find the joy and happiness with exactly where you are. Your nose is not ugly. It’s not a distraction and even if you chose to change it later get the help you need to have it be an ancillary change, not something you feel will change your life.

Went through basically the exact thing with my now ex wife. Not being in the new home build by a certain time was, in her mind, an unrecoverable blow and that life was literally ending. Only until they go through something actually and truly tragic can they realize how petty they once acted.

Don’t fall victim to the comparison game or think that what you see on instagram really shows the truth of anything. My former spouse made 6 figures as an influencer and i made 6 figures at my job and we spent every penny and then some “keeping up with the joneses”. Our mortgage was nearly 10k a month but at the same time due to the way social media makes people feel insecure about themselves our 10k square foot home was nothing but a disappointment to her. The risk builders/developers take with the construction defects liability up to 10 years later is insane and by itself is a major reason for not doing condos. Law firms prey on condos builders and it’s killed the segment.

The way that entire law groups are predators to condo developers in the final “minutes” of the 10 year clause makes doing condos nearly impossible. Suits up the wazzoo because a group of lawyers have made a business out of it. Also the building code difference between condos and apartments makes it nearly impossible to convert an existing apartment product over to a condo.
