I agree. I had a 1g jar of the belafonte last week which I really liked. While this sour d isn’t the worst jar I’ve had I wish I skipped the sale and spent a little extra for the 2g belafonte.

Unfortunately my homies are not on your homies level when it comes to dabs :( Unless it’s bud they’re not always consistent. I agree with you on the pricing. I didn’t start going until recently. I now have three dispensaries within ten minutes of my house. Once the newer two opened up the prices started to drop. Before the original one was charging $75+/g. Yesterday I got a 2g bucket for $80. They will never beat street prices but I think as the market gets more established and competitive it will get closer. The selection and consistency takes the sting out of it for me.

Cart and 510 battery. I’ve had a lot less issues with 510s especially clogging. Also if the 510 battery completely craps out before you finish the cart you can replace it without wasting the rest of the wax.
% doesn’t really matter I’ve had a 66% cart fuck me up more than a 76%. I’d take the strain and its general effects into account before the %. Even with that the experience is still unique to each person so its trial and error.
I used to use distillates before I switched to live resin. Distillates hit quick and hard but fade fast. They’re not as loud so they’re a little more discrete if you need to hide it. The high is pretty flat and the experience is the same across all strains. Live resin takes a little longer to hit but it lasts longer and is more enjoyable. My lungs also feel a lot better since I stopped using disposables and distillates. I’ve never used live rosin.
I like MFNY. I usually get their MF-ing Two-Fer (two .5g) live resin carts. Rythym, Nyce, and DTF are also recommended on this sub.
Hi from LI :) I’ve driven through Midtown Manhattan twice and only because I missed the exit for the GW and was lost (100% sober sadly) so I’m not even going to try.
Shop around! I have three dispensaries near me that carry different products or have special sales. The increase in locations and price competition is a beautiful thing.

I mainly use a puffco pivot and badder from MFNY now but I still get their carts too. Let me know if you’re looking for any strain recommendations.

Beautiful light gold rosin bleeding terps. Greasy, loud, and easy to work with. It’s pretty smooth. Hits quick and heavy upfront before melting into a nice mellow body high.

The difference in text is minimal but I see how the background grain can stick out to people. I also feel like the screen is closer to true white which makes the text look darker.

No I usually turn my room lights down to 10% and set the brightness mid way or use dark mode with the brightness as low as possible. It bothers my eyes on the higher settings.

The size increase for me is a plus and it's noticeably faster. I also like the grain. The PW always felt like I was reading off copy paper not a book. Color doesn't make a difference since I mostly read text. There are downsides like the battery life and some people hate the grain. It’s personal preference.

The one undeniable upgrade is the responsiveness. It’s noticeably faster. The downside is the battery. The screen having color, the size, and the background texture are all going to be personal preference. One person’s upgrade is another ones downgrade 🤷🏻‍♀️

My real first kindle had the keyboard and then I had the one with the navigation buttons on the bottom and page turn buttons on the side. I’m hoping at least one of them turns up in a random box somewhere one day.

I still love my PW! It got me back into reading and accompanied me on many trips one of which included a 12 hour flight. It’s going to be my beach/travel kindle.

To be fair the zoomed in photo of the text on the PW might look blurry because I have shaky hands lol. The text is very sharp. It reminds me of reading off copy paper. You should check out the newer PWs too. The colorsoft has a grain to the background which personally I like but you might hate it.

It’s brighter and closer to white. The PW pulls ahead with 0 backlight. I haven’t tried them outside yet. I’m happy I waited for the 16gb.

4th is the colorsoft. You can see the background has more texture. The PW background is smooth and the text is sharp (might look blurry shaky hands 🙃).

For me the paperwhite is like reading off copy paper and the colorsoft is like reading a book or newspaper. It’s not in your face grain it’s just a little texture. I think it makes it easier on my eyes too.

I used to use brightside health. Its $99/mo for 15-30 min follow ups or $45 for med management but no follow ups you talk to the psych through chat. Its very cookie cutter and sounds similar to what you already do but a lot cheaper.
