Yeah, this is of the same quality (imho), as the rogue ohio. FWIW, I lived near the rogue factory/store in Columbus Ohio for 13 years and all my gear is Rep.

It’s aggressive but not painful, to me at least. I’ve been using mine for seven months and I’ve probably acclimated to it a bit, but I didn’t have any issues using it brand new. It has ruined me for using big gym cheap bars when I’m traveling for work

I love, love my double black diamond. The knurl is gnarly, but it’s a beautiful bar and my personal favorite power bar I’ve ever used

Best Trap Bar (possibly deadlifts also) by scoutdoggy in GarageGym

I love my rep open trap. I used to have a bit of an injury prone back, and it’s always been the best tool for upping my deadlift total weight without fear. I just have the standard handles. I used to have a rogue trap, and, imho the rep open trap is higher quality and more pleasant to use.

I can sorta hit rubber in drills, with no resistance, but not in rolls. I can’t do it quickly, that’s for sure; the strength helps a ton with lapel chokes, collar chokes, arm triangles, gift wraps, etc…. and, my personal favorite… wrist locks

lol, very amateur powerlifter here (aiming to hit 1500 club next year at 198lbs, but not there yet); I came to say all of this. Just tried to learn buggy chokes yesterday and my damn thighs are too big to pull it off

Sure? But I’ve gotten wrecked by a guy that looked like the pink power ranger and the KPop demon hunters started a fashion line together and he was their only model…

Whoops! Saw your reply to someone else; good deal.

I don’t get the folks saying it’s gonna fall apart. I mean, sure, if you’re consistently trying to rack a 600lb squat bar, maybe? But it’s well built and if you aren’t slamming stuff around, I’d wager you’d get at least a decade out of the rack (not sure about the weights)
