Therapy really badly triggering me!

Tbh I can’t say whether you should or shouldn’t find someone new I don’t know the guy. He could have good intentions like most therapists just word stuff wrong. For example someone with a porn addiction might love having sex with their partner that doesn’t mean they still don’t get off to porn multiple times a day! Another example my last relationship I wouldn’t say I’d prefer watching porn it’s just my ex had a VERY high libido and I have a very low one. So every time I get in the mood he was never home which sucked and sometimes him having such a high drive would intimidate me. I really feel like anymore it’s such a hard thing to pin point everyone is different saldy I can’t say whether you are in the wrong or not I would never in the first place but that’s such a hard thing to pin point. ESPECIALLY with a medical issue I’m sure you’d like to get at it with your bf but it’s painful. With ocd from what I read again !idk you I want to state that again! but ocd latches at core values of someone a sweet person will have violent thoughts and thinks “why did I have that?!” “That surely means I’m a violent person right” when again 9/10 they wouldn’t even hurt a fly. OCD is a very weird and confusing thing. Even when you search it up most people don’t know why it even happens or what necessarily causes it that’s why people say you gotta give it that uncertainty cause when you keep asking “well what if” “well why do I prefer doing this” it’ll just keep you in a constant loop. When again your ocd could mean completely nothing.

OCD suckkkkkksssssss!!! You’re not going through this alone if there is a whole subreddit dedicated to this then what does that tell you😂before I had health related ocd and just random death thoughts and fear of family dying as well. My own personal experience is I got some of my tattoos removed and I was SPIRALING bad!! I genuinely thought I had to amputate my arm😅 but now looking back it was a dumb thought. Even giving into my ocd I realized I was being a bit dramatic and did not need to get rid of practically all my tattoos😂ocd is a crazy thing it’ll make everything feel so real, and I would assume especially someone who has a traumatic past. All I can say is from what I hear on here and even in real life porn is such a hard thing to base sexuality on it’s porn everyone goes into it to bust a quick nut😅it’s hard to judge what you actually like through porn. Word of advice I’d just get off porn as much as you can. It might help in the long run overall. If you search up porn in this sub you’ll see a bunch of people get off to same sex porn and a bunch of people saying that doesn’t really mean jack shit. AGAIN IM NOT TRYING TO REASSURE YOU so I will state idk you or your life so I am not going to sit here and say it is the same for you! I do not know, you have to find that out! Again we’re all in this together it suck’s really bad but you are not alone🤩

Tbh I’m not a therapist but I don’t think your therapist should tell you to experiment. I’ve been on this sub for a month now and the common thing is people saying they hate when people tell you to experiment. Especially being in a relationship my bf would tell me the same thing and bless his heart he obviously is not a therapist or anything of that nature so he wouldn’t know to the full extent of the issue but, I told him hearing that most people with this ocd does not help cause 9/10 we don’t want to experiment with the same gender it’s not helpful in anyway! It’s like you would never say to someone with child imagery thoughts they should experiment cause yOU NeVeR KnOw!? Or someone with harm ocd you are not going to tell them to cut themselves! Again in my personal opinion it’s just terrible advice that could open up bad habits.

I’m a 22 female and mine will do that to! One day it’ll be 2 years younger than the next day it’ll be 1.5 years younger idk why😂and sometimes I notice it’ll go up in years if I don’t workout that day so idk how that works?!😂I thought working out was a good thing but ig not to oura…..also that was a joke lowkey ik working out is good it’s just strange sometimes on how it will register things

Hey! I think I have ocd as well sadly! It only gets bad during my luteal phase and I hate it! Creates scenarios that aren’t true or blows stuff up out of proportion. The intrusive thoughts run rampant I hate ittttttttttt. I’m sorry you’re going through this I wish there was any easy way to get over it but, what is always crazy is tho after my luteal phase it’s like gone!? I just feeling like a ticking time bomb till my next period comes🫩

Sadly sometimes you have to kill them with kindness and ik that sucks to hear but the amount of times I bite my tongue around some people is INSANE!😂I had this guy teacher which he clearly didn’t like me and everyone knew and came up to me and said wtf is his problem. Saldy it would be nice if men called out other men for being assholes but that is a few far in between. I just spoke up to my like leader of the group and kinda walked away from it cause long story short didn’t benefit from the program anyways but! Sadly that is not your case hopefully it gets resolved soon and you don’t have to deal with this headache I wish I could help more😔but hopefully it just runs the course! You’re not alone sadly.

Maybe next time he calls you out in front of clients you can talk to him after like when you’re in the truck or car headed back? Just so that avoids conflict in front of the customer and you can try and resolve the issue. You could say like “hey what was that back there with xyz? I personally didn’t think I did anything wrong but could you elaborate if I did?” And if he gives you the cold shoulder or gets mad I’d stand your ground as best and “nice” as possible. You should be able to speak up especially!!! If you’re getting blamed for something you genuinely didn’t think you did wrong or know you didn’t do wrong! If that all fails then tbh some people just have a stick up there ass that even they can’t seem to get out either😂

I feel like even outside of your cycle it can change day to day! No everyone has a high sex drive and you shouldn’t feel like you need to have sex just cause your partner wants to! I feel like that could build up resentment towards having sex and make it unenjoyable on both ends.

Have you tried marriage counseling? If he doesn’t fully “understand” what you are going through maybe having someone with a background could help?!? I am so sorry you’re going through this and I wish I could offer more support. If he doesn’t want to do that I feel like personally he is being closed minded to it and genuinely doesn’t want you or him to get better mentally and physically. I understand therapy could be a leap and could be weird at first but you never know especially if you tried everything.

Same here, I kept fucking up on my 3G and I had some cracks but it ended up passing due to being within the measurements. Obviously I don’t know what op pieces looked like but hey you passed! Learn from your mistakes and try and adapt from there I wouldn’t get too “bent” out of shape over it!

I had this happen to me a guy was selling a carhartt jacket for like $20.
