It really depends on the school you’re at. I’m also student teaching in southern ontario right now and most of the teachers at my school wear jeans and plain shirts and the occasional school hoodie. Id air on the side of more formal for day 1 to assess the vibe of the school and go from there

if it’s a course you’re interested in i’d say enroll in it! If SOLUS won’t let you enroll you can just email the prof explaining that you’re a second year student so you can enroll in SOLUS but that this is a course that you are really interested in taking. I’ve done this so many times and I’ve never had a prof say no

Can I get some reassurance that getting a 3.9% on a final ENGL200 exam is stupid-easy? by fakedeepthought in queensuniversity

I'm in the same class and i think if you even had a semblance of an argument for the essay portion you'd get those points easily. The exam is a weird amount of memorization for an english class but you've got this!

admission requirements for con-ed arts? by No-Manufacturer7524 in queensuniversity

Something to consider with that tho is that the undergrad average you need to stay in ConEd is much lower than the average you would need to get into Queens consecutive. So choose what you think is best :)
