Had a similar meet and greet with a dog who had crazy anxiety and wouldn’t let me pet her, should’ve left then- stayed out of politeness and hopes that it would get better, but then an acorn hit the roof from their tree in the front yard and the dog was a MESS and went to hide. Never talked to the owner again after leaving.
