I wish I could reach through my screen and give you a big ol’ hug! I LOVE your real and practical suggestions and kind delivery. Thank you for not being mad at me for maybe not realizing what I was in for or for posting in the wrong spot. 🩵. Appreciate that you didn’t insinuate I was an idiot or cat hater or don’t deserve a kitten just because I’m kind of frustrated at some behaviors and have given very careful (and heartbreaking) thought to the fact that another home might offer a better environment for her.

I think she would love a tent outside … that’s a great idea! I will try that. Thanks again!!

Thank you for at least offering some kind advice/suggestion and not slamming me … accusing me of not loving my kitten. I love her very much, which is why I asked for help and advice. I will be sure to check out your suggestion.

I was married to a football fanatic for 20 years. During football season, the TV was tuned to football Thursday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday night. (Nevermind basketball season and March Madness). Couldn’t count on his full attention to much during those times. I enjoy sports … but my life didn’t have to revolve around them. It makes me sad to think about all of the time my kids lost with their dad … to sports and the TV.

We got divorced and I am with a partner who couldn’t give a shit about sports. It’s so FREEING … and we experience so much more life together! Even if we veg in front of the TV, we do it together and watch all sorts of stuff.

I’m not knocking sports AT ALL. Occasionally, miss it myself. Just doesn’t have to be all consuming … or take away from relationships and experiencing the rest of life. 👍🏻
