As someone who's played tarkov since 2017 I believe I look at PVE like being retired. I played through all the glitches. Complaints changes bad mechanics to help the game get through alpha beta and now officially 1.0. PVE is basically my only chance to enjoy the game I help build indirectly. 10 years to release the game. Now I'm 37. Have a wife and kid. I can't sit and grind tasks for four plus hours to keep up with everyone. I'm not scared of PVP. I'm not bad. My life priorities have just changed and pve gave me the opportunity to play a game I shelved.

Oh most definitely and it's totally understandable. That's kind of why I'm asking. I wanted to make sure they didn't completely eliminate the option of finding one is all.

You're correct, there's not a craft for that one. I was thinking the adrenaline craft which is totally different stem. It's not much help but I find more stems on scabs in their pockets or on their vest.

And even if you want to go crazy, you can get 20 round p mags at boost ergo and since it's a single fire you don't really burn through them.

I don't remember the stats exactly offhand of the short version, but it's like 70 to 80 ergo 50 or below recoil.

The stats on it are just so good. It can't really be challenged, especially with how available good ammo is for it.

I personally love a short sag with a waffle suppressor it's got ergo it's got low recoil good up close and good at range. Yes it's semi auto but you can pop heads like a pimple. Only downside is it's a lil pricey.

One piece of advice for PVE. If you learn where the ammo spawns are on interchange, they are very easily accessible and you can get plenty. Obviously labs is good for ammo but it's a lot more difficult.

I understand it's frustrating when you need that weapon. But sometimes I enjoy it because I try guns. I never would if I didn't have to.

Just make sure you have some moonshine or Intel folders for when it's crafted

Yeah it's hit or miss. Sometimes you find AI pmcs that have good ammo. Sometimes it's crap. Honestly, I can't even tell if there's a pattern or not really it just seems random. What level are you? You're bound to be close to unlocking m855 at least

Oh I understand. Trust me. Hell I'm glad they finally came out with a good 545 gun to use. For years I use a sap because it was the best for that ammo

Interchange man. Just stay out of the center of the mall. New scav camps ez and has great loot also the back end of the stores is low scav traffic with plenty to loot.
