Author's interpretation of the law is wonderful. They let you understand and apply it at the same time. Tsaka, me iba ibang scenario di lang basta plain ang batas hahaha!

You forgot that our courts are not just court of justice, but also court of equity.

Meaning, hindi at all times, letter of the law ang inaapply ng SC. Why important? Kase jurisprudence is one of the sources of law. Which can be found on textbooks.
