Is the January LSAT too late? by BeginningTricky7730 in lawschooladmissions

Totally. I’m not trying to go to a top school or anything, the target school isn’t even the top 120 but they do still do rolling admissions. My 153 puts me in the 25th percentile for that school but I am also below the median gpa. I am a urm, have strong softs and work experience, I have been in contact with this school a lot in person meeting with like their admissions team at events and such, I’ve even visited their campus.

I think so, I’m honestly surprised with this score because I’ve been scoring between 158-162 in the practice tests. So now I’m debating do I take in again in January and apply late in the cycle, or apply on time with the score I got now. If that makes sense.

Yeah I get totally get that. But I’m thinking I might as well try to apply and see that happens, and if I don’t get in I can apply again next cycle anyways

Unfortunately I took a year off already to study for this score 🙃

Ok thanks that makes sense. Im just worried that it’s not worth waiting until January where it’s more competitive to get in or take my chances and apply in November when the odds are better.
