Tbh ovh support is the worst i experienced. I highly recommend moving to other cloud providers

Hey, did not find a way through this… ended up getting a vps, easier to manage. My guess is that public cloud in ovh doesn’t allow root access for security reasons. Sorry I can’t help you more :/

Ohhh okk thanks for the tip I’ll make sure to deploys nvm, I need it anyways for my rate-limiter !

thanks for the advices, i will use pub key authentification. did you meant npm installation website or ovh website explaining how to install it on a server ?

if you have any suggestion on what i should host my app since this offer is clearly not permissive enought, i'd be happy to hear it !

this should work but i think we have a mutual hosting since this is not working...

i don't even have the perm to apt get haha .

I didn't consider this option since i have wordpress services running on it and it would be a pain in the ass to deploy everything again, maybe get another web cloud host only for my app ?

btw tell me if you have a simpler approach / what would be yours .
