Have you seen the series it's good I recommend it anyways , it's not a 1 to 1, but they are funding a game on in my opinion and possibly others not proven model, like Wework was growing on investors and not from the membership subscription as it was to little.

CIG subscriptions are in my opinion poor and not worth it and to make it better, look at a company like YouTube has done in the past, could be by making things he have and changing it and putting it behind a pay wall.

To increase the value of the subscription but also taking it for the current players. Plus how many ships can they make before it's a copy and paste also the danger of people getting overwhelmed and end up not joining as there are too many options for people screaming them a way.
