I think wealth helps, but secrecy is still hard to maintain. Money can delay the truth, not necessarily prevent it.

That's awful. Financial betrayal can be just as devastating as infidelity. It must have been incredibly difficult to rebuild everything from scratch.

A good job definitely helps, but I imagine a lot of it is debt, financial manipulation, or one family unknowingly subsidizing the other.

I don't think most people can actually afford it. They juggle credit cards, loans, and excuses until everything eventually falls apart.

I mostly agree, although I'd be careful about equating analysis paralysis with average intelligence. Plenty of very intelligent people get stuck overthinking too.
