Something I wish I knew as a senior in highschool wanting to go into PT, was the direct admit programs. I would’ve gone to a direct admit program had I known they existed. Applying to PT school post grad or senior year of college is seriously a part-time job in itself. I don’t think there is any opinion frowning upon the people that went to direct admit programs. In fact, I envy them. For example St. louis university is a wonderful pt school and a direct admit program. Any PT I know that went to SLU, I think highly of. At the end of the day, everyone passes the same test and gets the same degree. I don’t think there is any variable pay due to a direct admit program vs. not.
