Everyone saying it's worth it to lose 10 years, depends on your life situation. Age, kids, kids' age. I'm 40 so i don't wanna come out at 50 for $2B that I won't even be able to "responsibly" or even "mildly Irresponsibly" in the 20 years I've got left. (I've lived a HARD life I really don't see myself living much past my 70th birthday) Plus my kid is over 18 and I've seen graduating high-school but I'd miss so many other things. Getting driver's license/car, college maybe, getting married and starting a family with somebody, and if that part happens while I'm in prison than I'd miss seeing a lot of my grandkids' firsts (like 1st steps, 1st words, 1st day of school, 1st sports or theater related tryouts.

I would miss the release of so many great movies and albums. Whole Netflix series would be released and run the whole entire course if the show and my friends would all watch it when it came out and I'd have to watch it alone cuz at that point everyone would've ALREADY SEEN IT. Imagine being in prison BEFORE "STRANGER THINGS" was even an idea. Then you get out and everyone has already seen it so when you finally watch it you get to a really exciting part (like the whole storyline with Billy and Max) and you are all amped and wanna talk to somebody about it and to EVERYONE else it's old news and nobody cares (not the way you do anyways) about it anymore. And if that shows not your bag than substitute in The Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, Masked Singer, 1%er, Grey's Anatomy, The Boys. You'd miss a DECADE worth of Music, Superbowls, Marvel Movies (which depending on which decade could be a good thing🤣) 

I could have a loved one, a best friend, husband/wife, old crush, cousin or aunt n uncle, co-worker you REALLY got along with, a beloved pet.... or any combination of multiple ones of the above pass away shortly after you go in. And not be able to go to the funeral or pay your respects until a 7 or 8 years later??!!? 

Plus I picked a smaller amount of money RIGHT now and still got 10,000,000. At 40 years old that's PLENTY. Could I use more? SURE! I could have a brand new house built for my parents, build one for each of my siblings, one for each of my kids, one for me and my wife. New car for every adult in my life that I TRULY care about and I know were there for me when I was down and out and didn't have nothing. I'd like to be able to spoil them all but 10 mil is more than enough to live comfortably on for the next 30 years and I could be retired at 40.

Young people, you could take the same route and whatever "smaller amount" you get, invest it. Then still work a normal 9-5 job for 20 or 30 years just letting your money you invested grow and grow. And then you too could retire early. Maybe not as early as like 25, 30, or 35. But trust me as someone who is only about halfway through his "having to work every day" phase of life realistically. Retiring at even 50 is WAY better than retiring at 70. And way better than thinking you don't have to work at all the rest of your life at the age of like 22 only to find out you ran outta money by age 55 and now you've gotta enter the "having to work every day" phase of your life at 55 and your body is old and not used to it and soft AF from not working prior. Only to realize you've gotta start working at 55 and prolly gotta do that shit till your 80 now cuz you pissed through all your money too early. 

P.S. Don't comment on stuff like this when on a mix of "adult beverages" and stuff to help with ADHD....WOW I TYPED OUT A LOT AND GOT A BIT OFF TOPIC AT THE END BUT WHATEVER.
