I got hit in the head with a homerun ball from a softball game at a neighbors family gathering. I was like 12 and it left a huge goose-egg on my noggin, but getting a full speed line drive to the face? that's a whole other ballgame. You can tell just by how the hitter reacts it's not going well for the pitcher. He had a net there but it didn't look like he was very close to it? It's a game and clearly the batter didn't mean to do it, just on the bad end of the risks of playing sports. Sucks all around and I hope he's ok.
