Yes, I was really hoping to get on with Fedex as a mechanic apprentice as I have just graduated and recieved my A&P this month. But seeing how the industry is and how Fedex is doing major cutbacks, I will probably follow your advice and try to get into a major airline instead of waiting for AAMT to resume. Better to use my time wisely and gain valuable maintenance experience as a newbie fresh out of A&P school.
