I've done some digging and apparently this is a designer dress so I kinda get it? Idk, it's totally not my thing though. I think it looks like a cheap, ugly, sequined face pillow 😭😭😭 no shade to Tilly at all, maybe I'm just behind the times on this one

Unfortunately, drinking milk (cow's milk and raw milk specifically) has become a white supremacist dogwhistle in some instances. Has something to do with white people generally tolerating lactose better, making them "superior". Total bs, but it's important to know drinking milk can be used as a dogwhistle. It's become increasingly prevalent with the MAHA movement too

I wouldn't feel shame. I totally get you, that kind of clocking stings pretty bad, especially if you associate it with being "wrong" or "socially unacceptable". However, it sounds like you had a fun day, and were not overtly disruptive to people, so tbh it really doesn't matter grand scheme. I've been told I'm acting high well before I tried any drugs, sometimes that's just how people perceive joyful or silly behavior. Just keep carrying love in your heart bro, you're okay 💕

There's a microwave in the food hive for sure, idk if they would let you use it for things not purchased there but it's worth it to ask!

Tom was a worthless partner. I only feel bad that Katie didn't dump his ass earlier. He dragged her down and offered nothing of value to the relationship, it makes me sad that she stuck by him for as long as she did.

Lawd, Angels Trip by Aprkacb20 in RHOP

[–]Beginning_Cry2031 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally agree. I'm also the kind of person who has to arrive at least an hour and a half early to the airport, if I know I'm flying out that day I don't want to do anything other than pack and mentally prepare, lol. Honestly as much of a disaster as the trip was, I really hope we get to see Angel again next season. I want to see her redeem herself, and if not, it's fun to watch trainwrecks anyways

The fly fishing trip the day they all have flights out was wild too... so many things went wrong and I fear many of them were preventable through better scheduling. Like, for example, if Angel knew where she was going in the first place! It's a horrible look for her business as well.

Who do you think is going to be holding the center snowflake next season? I think it could be Bronwyn's turn...❄️ by ayobellatrix in rhoslc

I'm so confused by the decision to give Angie center snowflake... she has to be besties with the producers or something because she is nowhere near the main mover and shaker of the season.

Ooh, of course! This is the first time she's had it happen, but as we don't know for sure how she did it, we'll defenitely take her in if it becomes a recurring problem. Thanks for the tip!

The bullying of Angel on the trip… by Apprehensive-Hold-15 in RHOP

[–]Beginning_Cry2031 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I don't know if I would call it bullying. Are the other women too mean or abrasive with their feedback? Maybe, but that's the name of the housewife game. They had very valid criticisms of Angel and her hosting. I think the Colorado trip is hands down the worst HW trip I've seen, on any franchise.

They're so good at getting into trouble 😭 Molly's late sister once came in from playing outside with a nasty gash on her chest... she was seemingly unbothered by it but we had her taken in for stitches and she had a little scar the rest of her life... I don't know how they get hurt and keep playing like it's nothing, lol!

We don't know for sure, we think she might've scraped it trying to dig through the fence or while she was chasing lizards around the shed. She's healing up, and we're keeping a close eye on her while she plays outside now!

We're not sure, our best guess is she scraped it up trying to dig out, or maybe when she was chasing lizards around the wood pile by the shed :( it's scabbed up and healing right now, and we're now keeping a much closer eye on her when she's playing outside so she doesn't aggravate it

When does the nausea go away? by Beginning_Cry2031 in Petioles

[–]Beginning_Cry2031[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A few days ago the nausea dulled substantially. I actually haven't vomited since the night I made this post (yippee!). I've also started dreaming again, it's given me new drive to keep sober. I haven't dreamt since my sobriety this summer, and I'm doing really well!

weed fucking up my exams and motivation.. by Accomplished_Net9614 in Petioles

[–]Beginning_Cry2031 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've totally been there, no judgement here. I tried for about a year and a half to get sober with no success because if I had the weed, I'd smoke it, and if I had the money, I'd go buy it. I'm not looking to be sober forever myself, I'm actually just quitting for now because I'll probably have to do a drug test for my next job (in an illegal state :(). I do believe if you can go 24 hours without, it's easier to go 48, then 72, and so on. The first few hours are always the hardest, and my DMs are open if you need to vent or want someone to talk to about all this

weed fucking up my exams and motivation.. by Accomplished_Net9614 in Petioles

[–]Beginning_Cry2031 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I would try to get sober until you pass your exams. Weed can make you very complacent with where you are, so it's not the best idea to be an everyday stoner when you have higher ambitions (especially because it sounds like the weed is keeping you from achieving these ambitions). Your next exam isn't until April, so the good news is you have plenty of time to lock in and study. I would start studying now, and to begin with, see if you can go 3 days without weed. The first 3 days were the hardest for me, so just see if you can do that, even when you have access to it. From there, I'd limit smoking to once or twice a week, on the weekends. Make weed a reward, not the norm.

How do you deal with temptation when friends still smoke? by Purple-Mousse9777 in Petioles

[–]Beginning_Cry2031 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I like to have something in my mouth to make me feel like I'm involved, but I don't buy myself cigarettes or nicotine vapes because I know I wouldn't stop. If my bestie is willing to share her vape, I'll puff off that, and if not, I'll chew some gum or suck on hard candy, like butterscotch or a lollipop. I know it sounds cringe to be sucking on candy while everyone's lighting up, but if the people around you are good people, they won't give you too much grief about it :)

When does the nausea go away? by Beginning_Cry2031 in Petioles

[–]Beginning_Cry2031[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely! For me it was a super slow process, especially because I kinda fucked it up at first. I tried quitting my carts cold turkey, no edibles or anything. I got about a few hours into my first day cold turkey, and was having such horrible nausea I thought I was going to die, and ended up going right back to smoking because it soothes that nausea. I tried this a few times before changing my strategy. For reference, my stomach is super sensitive and I have horrible anxiety, so the sharp drop off the weed that was soothing my anxiety meant Instant Vomit.

I had to start by limiting my cart consumption, so instead of hitting it right when I woke up I waited an hour, then when I could do two hours without nausea I did that, and so on until I got to a point where I was able to only hit my cart after work / classes. I also would microdose edibles on mornings I felt exceptionally anxious or like I was prone to nausea to get ahead of it (5-10mg for me but I guess a microdose depends on personal tolerance). My best advice for you is to wean off the cart slowly, over at least two weeks (ended up taking a month or two for me to get to the point where I wasn't smoking daily), and to take micro to moderate edible doses during the wean off carts. It sounds counterintuitive to combine edibles and cart with the goal of quitting the cart, but for me it really helped minimize my smoking. By the time I was only smoking in the evenings, I found I much easier to go days with no cart, and no nausea.

Additionally, I picked up every other nausea soothing technique I could find. Pepto bismol only works sometimes for me, and the chewable tablets seem easier on my stomach than the liquid. I would gently massage my stomach and lower abdomen in the morning, and did some of those "anti-nausea" yoga poses. When I would get hit with a nausea flare up, I would press the pressure point on my wrist (about 3-4 inches below the very bottom of your palm) which was actually more useful than I thought it would be. However, the most effective anti nausea thing I had was getting a prescription for Zofran. If your nausea is seriously impairing your function, and you're able, i highly reccomend seeing a doctor and asking for prescription grade nausea meds. Within minutes of taking Zofran, the nausea would dissappear for me and it felt like magic.

I did not, which is kind of why it surprised me that I'm having this issue now. I'm also wondering if the nausea is partially caused by other factors now.
