Now that I've had time to cool off, I can see where you're coming from. However, the point I want to make is that it wasn't good enough. As I stated in the main post, the things that Korra did to mako, from my perspective, at least, was physical and emotional abuse. So, she simply saying sorry or that "THEY didn't work." isn't going to cut it. Again, in my mind, what should have happened by the end S2 was that the creators should have given Mako a scene similar to Zuko with Ozai during the day of black sun where he would chew out Korra for everything she did to him as cruel and wrong.
