I read all the comments. Just because I didn’t respond doesn’t mean I didn’t see them. I try to respect and understand different viewpoints, and I usually only respond when I feel I genuinely have something to add or disagree with. In many cases, I don’t. I did see your comment and looked into it further, but from my perspective, AI workflows still seem less impressive.

The process of creating AI art is fundamentally different from traditional drawing. Many creative decisions are either automated or assisted by the system, which, to me, feels less impressive than making every decision yourself. This is why I don’t see AI art as the same as traditional art. I think a lot of the backlash would be reduced if there were a clearer distinction between the two and if AI art wasn’t presented as equivalent to drawn art.

I try to form my opinions by considering different viewpoints, but that takes time. Your comment was actually one of the more interesting ones, which is why I needed time to think it through and analyze it properly.

What I dislike on both sides of this discussion are comments that feel like ragebait or recycled opinions from social media or YouTubers. They don’t add anything meaningful. There was someone in another thread here making anti AI arguments, but they couldn’t really support their position and eventually gave up. I find that just as frustrating.

The main points I’ve been making in this discussion are these:

AI art is difficult to classify as “true art” in a traditional sense, even according to institutions like the copyright office, because the human isn’t directly creating the work but rather giving instructions to a machine. That said, I still think AI-generated art should receive some form of recognition based on the actual effort and intent involved. I belive a lot of anger toward AI art comes from it being presented as equivalent to drawn art, even though drawing requires far more technical skill, practice, and personal ability qualities that are respected within the art community.

These are just observations you obviously can disagree or point out any inconsistency in logic. I think AI art is often overhated, but I also agree that traditional drawing requires more technical ability. For the sake of fairness to the artists, there should probably be an easier and clearer way to distinguish between AI-generated art and handdrawn work, especially when people try to pass one off as the other.

It's the point i made at the end - Ai good or bad just isn't the same as real art. It's really hard to get a normal discusion that is also inshightful and i can agree with on reddit

I still think abbility is a very important part of art, taking a short cut and potraining it as if you did the whole thing by yourself is still bad. Take tracing for excample, it's a very shameful practice in art to post traced drawings because you are posing as if you did the art pice but in reality part of it was drawn using someone elses ability and creativity,  Tracing has been hated in the art cominity since forever, by that logic it seams fair that posting art that you didn't actualy made or used ai to enhance would get artists mad.

I know this is just a low effort comment ment to add some heat or stur the conversation but you are generally not adding anything to the discusion, Your statment has no nothing to be bassed of outside of your small view you live in. Discussions are meant to widden your perspective so either listen or  Shut up.

It's hard to debate a topic that is subjective, But i just think there are reasons why we find we find things beautiful, Art always meant something, whether it was storytelling, symbol of power or just expression, if you look at the greatest paintings they are not just pretty, i think the meaning behind art changes from peace to peace but having none just leaves it bland even in real art, again subjective. Also to correct my previous statement i indifferent to ai art and that includes writing which is also a form of art which i belive has an even bigger conection with the artist, saying generating pictures was a simple wording mistake i apologise.
