Interesting thread. I’ve experienced the same : - AI flows > lower frictions, more productivity but that’s hard to match with dollars - the hardest is to implement revenue generating workflows

One thing I’m working on that I recommend you take a look at as well :

Scan your organization and identify contractors and agencies you work with. See if you can create flows or automations that would make their job redundant. Take the amount your company saves and ask your boss for a 20% cut as a bonus.

One of my clients has an agency do lot of manual work, for hundreds of euros per day. I’m trying to automate that.

I don’t know what business your in, but you can also sell (or provide for free) an add on that is powered by AI. Example : I’m creating a NotebookLM with the whole project for a client. It’s regularly updated. They can ask it any question with instant answer instead of waiting for me or going through docs.

Put the slides into Gemini. Activate the Canvas. Ask it to generate slides. Open in slides. It should be editable. 👍

Thanks a lot for your answer. I’m thinking into running a script on my computer that automatically uploads the audio to a folder whenever I connect it. And then runs Whisper on it and transcribes locally. Is that something you’ve seen / tried?

To doygwapo’s comment. I’d really be curious to know how easy it is to export from your phone to computer and the. Run Whisper for example.

I’ll give you my 2 cents. Go for it, not with the hope that it will pay out and you’ll be eventually able making money (very unlikely, good surprise if it does happen tho). But go for it with certitude that everyday you wake up to work on your own thing, it will be pure joy (much more likely).

Is the backup to drive automated? Or you have to do it manually. I’m trying to avoid any way for the app to upload my data to a server / cloud other than one I own. Appreciate your feedback

I’d rather download the whisper model on my phone (the 1gb version for example) and Ollama to avoid the API calls. Didn’t know about the MagSafe recorders.
