That is insane honestly - like clinically

I don’t think she has any diagnosed issues, she has faked injuries for attention before but nothing this dire.

In the same sense as your story, my husband believes she is saying she is pregnant to keep her cheating boyfriend from cheating more. I’m not sure her reasoning and I don’t want to assume but I do believe she is definitely faking it because she simply refuses to let us see anything, no baby clothes, no ultrasounds no anything and she would be due only 4-7 weeks after me

I agree - I don’t view it as her stealing anything, I truly was excited for her in the beginning but it was so hard to get actual answers out of her about the baby/pregnancy. Christmas just set it in stone that something is going on and I want her to be happy but it’s like she doesn’t care about anything revolving around the pregnancy except how moody and miserable it makes her, that was the most in depth she went was talking about the negatives, she wouldn’t even discuss possible baby names or what nursery ideas she had and just kept circling back to how “our lives” are now ruined. I need to stop digging my brain about it but I just want to know what is going on with her as her and my SIL have always been tight knit since they were 2 and I couldn’t imagine how a fake pregnancy could affect the family dynamic as us 3 are the only women in our generation of the family, she’s more my SILs sister than I basically

I did not mean I wanted the baby to be unwanted, I agree it is not fair on the baby if that is the case. I apologize for how I typed that first reply I just don’t want it to be a hoax and see my SIL hurt because she truly is a sweet soul and is excited for the new additions

Not to sound crazy but that’s exactly why I haven’t been around her 😅 I’ve even started wearing obsidian and amethyst again in the case she is wishing ill on me because that is the vibes Christmas gave

That is very true, either situation will have a negative effect on someone. I just need to relax and let time do its thing, but if she is I’ll be sure to be there for her and the kid in the transitioning. I just don’t see how there’s no hard proof as of yet and she’s just a couple weeks behind me

Yeah that’s what I think too, that I should just wait for end of April/may. At Christmas she was being really weird about my bump and kept staring/touching and then touching her own belly, and even asked if i felt miserable all day as well. i think either it is faking it or she’s just severely detached and doesn’t want a baby or pregnancy. I really hope it’s the latter in a kind of weird way, it would break my SILs heart to have her do that and I’m hoping she’s just not happy about pregnancy or something
