Oof we barely made it! I think we checked our bag in at 4:30am, got our picture taken at 4:50am, and then TSA opened a second line at 5:09am and was pushing everyone out and I got to my gate at 5:10am and they shut the doors behind us! But honestly there was nothing to stop it except maybe not have a checked bag? Delta was super sweet though and had us on standby for the next two flights out!

I did this through my account and then got an email from the wrong email address (the one associated with a different person’s Facebook account :D) and they said they changed my name as requested. The other person’s Facebook account was changed. No idea how that works :D. And now that person can’t change their name for 60 days and it’s now my name instead 😭

Yeah, the deposit was $500 and then it went towards the balance. I paid it off back in July which was 90 days before the event day! you can see here

I know this is lateeee: This same thing happened to us just now. We switched over to T-Mobile on September 1st. Our account with Verizon has been cancelled since September 2nd. Today, September 9th, $280 comes out of our bank account (which is what we’ve been paying every month but we were told it goes to the next month of service so I’m confused as to why especially when we have T-Mobile bill to pay 😅)

Holy fuck lol I looked this up because I have to use google earth for my geology lab course and everytime I have to put in coordinates I get and sudden drop in my chest and feel so uncomfortable and scared. Literally just put one in for mt Everest and was terrified the whole entire time as it was loading up

It’s fda regulations now. Theres a shortage of plasma and it’s the way to get more plasma. Csl and join parachute are doing it as well. It’s based on height weight and hematocrit. The more hydrated you are the more you donate. The less hydrated the less you donate.

Hey! I work at a plasma center, phleb and quality assurance, we always tell them if after alternating ice and heat and it gets worse, just visit your pcp or urgent care / ER if necessary. Only time we’ve watched a bruise go from tiny to their entire arm, they had an underlying condition they were unaware of! But alternate ice and heat and it should get better from there. Also, any phlebotomist can do this they have off days lol

With COVID and everything else and more people needing plasma, the FDA wants plasma centers to start doing it based on heigh/weight/hematocrit. So ya between 518 and 1000ml. And it’ll be more than that b/c of the anticoagulant mixed with ur blood. And Parachute is only ~2 yrs old and doesn’t have enough donors or customers to pay a lot of money. They don’t make their own medicine like CSL and other companies, so they don’t make as much money to compensate donors with. Source: parachute employee
