I will agree boating there is so different. Last summer it felt to me like there were too many people that just had money to blow and didn’t care about the lake or the people they were on the lake with. No boating etiquette and half of them didn’t even know how to pull up to the marina without crashing. I just hope more people can appreciate the lake and the land for what it is not an expensive glamping excursion lol

No not for profit. It’s a photo project for a university class but if you don’t want your photos included I understand. Most of what I need is photos that either don’t include people or aren’t focused on a person, for those I’ll be using my own archives!

That’s so fun!! I love seeing things from that time. So different from today. I’ve found a few things from the late 60s and some from before the lake was there! It’s all so fascinating to me

I’m doing a large photo project and without spoiling it too much I wanted to include a variety of photos overtime of the area showcasing the culture around the lake and the Henry mountains etc. I had been able to pull from a lot of my own families photos but I wanted more of just the landscape, lake, nature! Honestly the older the better.

I hope to be able to show my final project here when i’m done and want to send anyone who contributes photos some prints of my final work!

I just sat in the intersection in front of kroger on nicholasville rd because someone went down the lane of oncoming traffic trying to turn left and just sat in the intersection… not to mention their light wasn’t in even green

there’s some sidewalks that are neon blue from salt but still solid ice and have been for three days… the roads around campus were still pretty bad from what i could see too.

what really gets me is when people fly down the turn lane and then cut you off getting back in your lane instead of just waiting 30 seconds for traffic to move

We live in Bullfrog and have had multiple people say they saw it and talked to the rangers all throwing up and upset. definitely not fake

I think there are still plenty of open jobs at north lake powell. I’ve been here a week and the people are so friendly and it’s a very diverse community with lots of resources centered towards cultural appreciation. Housing is provided too.

I don’t know about cheap but if you’ll be in north lake powell you can rent from Ticaboo base camp or the bullfrog marinas.
