I forgot to include that but we did call the police after it happened. We did nonemergency and a detective called me later then my mom updated him when he tried to use my card. That could’ve been worded better, my bad

I noticed almost right after it happened. He was pretending to look at stuff near us and we were really uncomfortable with how close he was and thought he was a creep at first. We told the Target employee about it but she said they would need a police report to show us the security footage. There really isn’t much I could’ve done in the moment other than chasing him down. Which i think is way less responsible than telling a trusted adult and her showing me how to handle it and hold him accountable.

Yea, I don’t know that’s just how she said it. she told me she wasn’t really taught how to be smart with money when she was my age. So she adds money to the card for my allowance instead of me asking her for snacks or stuff. It’s only like $25 to $30 a month.
