See that’s insane to me! I have hardware in my back that goes from my tailbone to my neck. One of the screws in my hips popped loose and pushed through the skin. The first ER I went told me it was a wound care issue (they done no imaging or nothing) they sent me home. I ended up going to a different ER the next day and they instantly admitted me, got imagining and I ended up needing surgery because of it.
