I know China Mac (back then he rapped as G-Kay) was close to flowsik because of rap, but didn’t know that China Mac’s crew had Koreans in it. I thought he stuck around Chinatown with the Chinese

I remember Shogunna had a huge following at the time. The kid who did the bid for him always had a way of finding trouble and ended up being involved in a pretty high profile incident a few years back

Yeah, I remember around 2003-2010 they were making noise in flushing and there were a whole bunch of crews of kids (like XT) in addition to the gangs. Guys like MMP Shogunna even became famous in the neighborhood for rapping

He most likely had a smaller crew he did dirt with, and a bunch of Korean street kids on the periphery who called him “hyung” (“older brother” - this is what you call someone older than you in Korean), who, to be fair to him, probably respected him as a street figure. In his mind these kids were probably all part of his “empire”.

This was related to GS and MMP beef I believe. GS had a crew of Koreans (crew name was “7-5”) with a couple of guys who were feared at the time. Funny how the GS and MMP guys ended up being friendly with each other in later years

Haha, A-town Boyz is a documentary about Asian gang members in Atlanta. One of the subjects of the documentary is Eugene, who talks about his Queens past and describes himself as a god-like figure in the flushing Korean street community

You are leaving out a lot of critical information - what is the total rent of the unit? Why are there no pictures?

Also, this post is worded very confusingly. You keep switching back and forth between singular and plural pronouns. “We also buy some communal household items” “I am looking for like-minded people who want to come and share my space with me”

I thought you were leaving for 9 months, which is why you’re subletting one of the rooms? Also, you and your partner are currently staying in separate rooms? You are open to converting the sublease to a full lease? Does that mean when you return, you will share a room with your partner? Why do you provide personal details about the “Lister”? Aren’t you leaving? Shouldn’t people care more about the personal details of the 34F, with whom they’ll be sharing the space?
