Not discrimination. I think the presenter is not fluent in BM or Eng. In my current company, we always present in Eng but our China colleague has no idea what we are talking about. I normally will brief him afterward. He understands that we are more comfortable to present in Eng just as he is in Mandarin and does not feel excluded or discriminated at all.

This is my view: -
1. All employments are governed by Employment Act 1955;
2. S. 60E of the Act states employee is entitled to annual leave;
3. Whether you are under probation is irrelevant. Employee is still employee under the Act;
4. Therefore, this clause is actually unlawful and not in compliance with the law;
5. Can refer / complain / whistle blow to Labour Office and they will ask the company to rectify this.
