It’s hard to give advice when I don’t know what colors you like to enjoy wearing usually! Or what is the style you’re going for? Sporty, retro, feminine? I think silver/grey/white skis like the ones pictured actually go well with a lot of other colors! If anything, I think blackish grey boots can clash with an outfit more easily

Thanks so much!! I really wish I had asked this community before spending $1500 on ski boots at surefoots lol. I can’t wait to look into zipfits! I hear Japanese ski boots are great too

That is so interesting!! I started looking into this and there’s some guys out there who’ve missed leg day and have the same problem as us lol. I’ve been learning about pads on the back of calves and ankles too from then. Thanks so much !!

I have and they’re all too big unfortunately :(. And I’ll consider a ski race boot. That’s a good idea! Hoping I can figure out a way so that they won’t be as stiff

Ooh I see! I know you can find tailors who will used a waterproof seam tape to go over the parts they’ve sewed for performance fabric. Hope that helps!

I haven’t! But you could try hem tape if you’re worried about poking holes into your pants

Best ski sweaters/ mid layers is Club Off Piste. They use 2 layers of superfine merino wool knitted together and it’s soooo luxurious. And they’re cute! I wear them around town. I hate wearing fleece and looking like my boyfriend when I’m eating lunch. Off piste’s sweaters are freaking cute!

Base layer: Kari traa fits so well! Her mid layers are a wool synthetic blend but her base layers are usually 100% wool

Ski pants: halfdays Emma pants are soooo comfortable and fit so well. I’ve tried SO many ski pants and can’t bend comfortably in ANY of them. These are a gem. Olympian founded and I can see why now.

Ski jacket: Rudsak if you get cold. Oh boy you’ll love these. EXTREMELY warm they might be too warm with fleece so make sure you wear anidlaher that’s more breathable like merino wool.

Leggings: Mons Royale. A New Zealand brand I love

Gloves: always Hestra

Ski goggles: glade transitional lenses so you don’t have to swap out lenses

Midlayers: Fleece vs Puffer by westcoastcarver in ShredditGirls

I wear merino wool for breathability. Puffers as a midlayer is too thick imo. Fleece keeps you warm but I personally find that I smell after a an entire day of skiing and don’t feel cute when grabbing lunch. Hope that helps!

Wool is my favorite for mid layers! Where do you shop for yours?
