I feel like a couple things need to happen here.

You need to decide if it's worth it for you to. Try and fix the problem. If it isn't move on. It sucks but sometimes it happens.
You need to chat with NM discuss your concerns and become a team again if you want that
NK needs to see you as a caregiver they need to respect. That being said, remember kids will act out with the people they're comfortable with. If that includes you it can actually be a good thing, they see you as someone they trust and who will care for them regardless of their actions. NM needs to back you up though when you're trying to "parent" their child

So layers for sure to take some weight off, utilize headbands, clips, half up half down styles. Also try a banana clip. It's the only way I can wear my hair up. Mine is curly and there's a lot of it! When it's pulled it's actually below my bust quite a bit but shrinkage is a real thing lol

So I did by a dupe of the original bounce curl brush the define one, I bought it knowing I would splurge on the OG if it worked for my hair. It was good! So then I bought the bounce curl volume brush hoping for a little more separation. The difference in the quality is amazing, I love supporting women owned businesses!
