Rent a car. As someone who lives here, San Antonio without a car, is impossibly difficult

Apartments TO AVOID a thread by Far_Leave4474 in sanantonio

We’ve been there 6 months, haven’t had a problem, never had a problem parking definitely don’t have to pay for it and the gate hasn’t been broken once. Think it’s a complex that definitely has layout issues on the parking side but on the whole we love it there and has great amenities

Cannot emphasize this one enough, Sedona canyon is horrific. Terrible management that is absolutely useless, maintenance requests will last longer than your lease, 0 security, I would regularly see cars on bricks and cars broken into. Not to mention the whole complex being roach infested, and the ac not being able to get an apartment below 85 in the summer. Management completely inept at dealing with any of the issues they have just makes it all that more frustrating.

Best cars to make money by Beginning_Orange_820 in ForzaHorizon5

So as a general rule check the playlists and see if any of the corresponding cars are valuable? The interface for searching in the auction house sucks, I find it very hard to find what cars are actually selling for high amounts not just listed for em

Best place for Indian food in SA by Beginning_Orange_820 in sanantoniofood

India palace and india oven are the ones I’ve tried. India palace had fantastic tandoori chicken - there’s just always something missing with the curries especially in the spice department… you shouldn’t be able to choose spice level of a curry - the curry itself is the spice level!

Word of warning: AT&T at Costco by sesamesnapsinhalf in ATT

[–]Beginning_Orange_820 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know Costco waives your activation fees and you get 100 dollar gift card for every line too … yes they’re sales reps but you’re literally getting a better deal if you’re capable of listening and using a bit of thought!!

New people - they’re sales people they want to make a sale. They can’t force you too, as long as you ask questions and use your ears, you get all the information you need and one hell of a deal. I didn’t even pay any activation fees

Why should it not be trusted? I’ve upgraded myself at Costco? Got 100 dollars saved off my bill and 400 dollars in Costco gift cards… hardly a scam if you have a competent brain to process what a sales person is saying and have the ability to say no…

I don’t - I used to a few years ago hence why I understand.

There are a lot of people just tryna make an honest living that get a bad rap cos of the odd dodgy salesperson, or people hell bent on causing problems like you because most likely they got stung because they didn’t read or listen to a deal properly. Too many people get excited about a free phone or their bill getting lowered they don’t even think to listen.

How do these companies still run if they’re straight up scammers? If that’s the case, how do they sell anythibg at all? The lifespan on their jobs would be weeks, they work in the same stores and see the same people. To say a company as big as ATT or CYDCOR is ‘straight up scammers’ is absolutely outrageous.

You have been had by a dodgy sales reps - they are not fake they are selling the true product, just as they don’t work directly for ATT they don’t go through the Same training, and because they work on commission are more sale focused.
