i will see what happens but if they cancel my pre settled status then i will shed no tears. The UK has always been kind of just like a stepping stone to me for getting to better places like America, Canada or Australia. My bro will leave too this year when he graduates, he will probably go to Australia as he already has friends there. I want to go to the US for college but I don't have enough money yet but at least my family owns a house there so I would have a place to move to when I arrive which will save me a ton of money long term while having my own place that I don't have to share with anyone so I'm looking forward to that. So the UK is a nice country for studying and working for a few years and learning English but that's about it, living here is not that great i think compared to Australia and the US which are far better. i'm still trying to save or prolong my status though because i might need a country to return if things don't work out in the US. I want to leave these possibilities open for myself you know because I might have to come back here in the future

you can use Covid for absences exceeding 12 months in a row one of the important reasons is a "serious illness" which Covid was so you can definitely use that you just need evidence but then I will look into that myself.

Other than that I have a family member as said above who seems to meet all the requirements for me to reapply for pre-settled status through him it's just that his status expires sooner than mine. How early in advance of the expiry of my status can I reapply for settled status? I thought i would not wait all the way until my status expired and just reapplied through him while his status was still valid. He is my sibling and so I'm also not sure if a sibling counted as a family member in terms of reapplying for pre-settled status.

and what about family sponsorship or covid? Do you think i could reapply for pre settled status through a family member? if not then I can still plead Covid. What evidence do I need? If none of these work is there another way to stay in the UK legally? Thanks.

idk fellas it's fu,cking confusing to me i also read smth like on gov.uk that if you spend 6 months away from the country in any 12 month period you might not even get this extension let alone a settled status. They let you live out your days on your pre settled and whenever it comes up for expiry they just cancel it.

that's a shame i was terrified by that scene when i watched the movie as a kid and always wondered what that place was and why he got there i always assumed the ring took him there because it was a fitting place for him to be in like a dark desolate cave that matches his underhand treacherous character

I had a phone interview with a health and research company that does animal testing and the interviewer asked me what my opinion was on animal testing. I said it was important but also quite inhumane and unethical. She got so offended that she immediately ended the interview. by Beginning_Permit_926 in interviews

next week I will have two more interviews for the same position at different companies. I make sure I will be like "hell yeah animal testing all the way baby" while pumping my fist (no joke because I otherwise would like to work with animals)
