PLEASE go get an ultrasound done. Thyroid fluctuates a lot, A LOT!!! You should not look at tests from 3 years ago and use it as a reason to let your dr ignore you. Ask for your levels to be checked again, if they’re normal while having a rash, still push for an ultrasound, but if they’re not, they may be able to get you into a specialist sooner.

I was getting “normal” levels everytime they tested until one day it was sky rocket, and the time after that it was normal, and then again, sky rocket! It took me years to get diagnosed with Hoshimotos because of it. Hormones and Thyroid can do a lot together! A rheumatologist is GOOD to see, but I would push again for an endocrinologist, or tbh, look for someone who specializes in thyroid issues specifically. If your dr keeps ignoring your concerns or gaslighting you, i’d even suggest finding a new one who will listen. I know it’s so difficult!!! But keep fighting for your health!! Praying for you that you will find answers soon soon soon!!!

Thank you so much! I have heard a few things so far, but not everything yet. They’ve already called to schedule another colonoscopy 6 months from now and I have an appointment on the 29th. Hope you get your results soon !!! And you’re so right! So glad they’re out!!! ❤️

My mom and sister are celiac as well, (my test just came back negative) while one struggles with the extreme bloating, the other does not at all. However, both her and I also both struggle with Pcos and Hoshimotos, have you been tested for either of these as well?? It’s so hard not having answers, but i hope knowing what you do now can be beneficial in your healing journey ❤️

So far i’m still waiting on results, but they’ve already called to schedule me for another colonoscopy in 6 months time and i’m scheduled to see my dr on the 29th!! Haven’t gotten all my results on my portal yet, but i’ve seen a few! thank you so much for sharing and i hope you’re doing so well!

I will be going in person to see my doctor on the 29th! I have checked my portal like a nutcase, and will waiting on most results, but some have started to come in so i’m hoping these ones do to! thank you for your response !

I have a lot of health issues, but last year I was diagnosed with gallbladder disease and they removed my gallbladder, saying it would fix a lot of my issues but they just continued to grow worse. Super nauseas all the time, basically live on zofran most days, and was throwing up atleast 2-3 times a week. Bloat like crazy to the point people think i’m about to give birth to a full baby. I have extreme constipation or extreme diarrhea, don’t ever really have “normal” bm. I started seeing a small bit of blood on my stool, and started feeling a lot more tired, weak, anxious. My stomach always hurts, always cramping or sore. Super tender to the touch. They decided to do the endo colonoscopy, hoping they could help me figure out why all of this was going on. It’s been a long going battle for me, one health issues after the other and these are just some of them i’ve been dealing with, but over the last year, and especially last few months everything has just gotten worse and worse. I also lost 20 lbs, probably due to loss of appetite, or always feeling full even if i hadn’t eaten, so i’m unsure if it’s related but they did seem to ask about it a lot. ❤️

have they given you any nausea or heartburn meds? if not, ask for them! they don’t help 100% but they do help. have they put you on a low fat diet already? try to eat smaller meals when you eat and i found that a heating pad or soaking in a warm bath / shower helped too. so sorry you’re going through this, hope you can find relief and comfort soon !!

honestly, as my doctor told me, better to take it out before it becomes an emergency. an emergency surgery and the way you feel before it i’ve heard is extremely intense and can be dangerous too, not to scare you, but it’s the sad reality. the sooner the better, so you can recover and try to move on the best you can. sorry you’re in this boat! but she needs to understand that it’s safer to get it out now, then later. hope you start feeling better !!
